The Kids...

Miss Kaylie. No she does not have lipstick on. I envy her pretty little lips!

Sisterly love! Kaylie loves to do everything that her sister does. Everytime I do Maddie's hair, Kaylie is quick to ask to have her's done as well.

Miss Madelynn. Her hair has been very curly lately. I'm hoping that it stays that way. We were watching some of our old videos from last year and it is amazing how much Maddie has changed in the past year. Her hair is finally growing! She is such a precious girl...

Rare as it is, I actually got all three of them to smile. They weren't the best smiles, but they were smiles non-the-less. I am so blessed to have 3 beautiful children in my life. Each one has brought such joy to my life. I'm excited to meet our new little son. Hopefully he will be welcomed soon as I'm not enjoying the warm weather we are having!!! I know, I don't have any control over that!

Trip to the Zoo

My friend from California, Angel, and her daughter, Lacey are here visiting us for the next week. Yesterday was Lacey's birthday and she wanted to go to the Zoo. We went while Nathan was in school, which he wasn't too keen on. We were able to convince him it was okay, because he had a Valentine's Day party at school, but he was still pretty bummed.

This is Kaylie's wet bum, Me, Angel and Maddie. Lacey was a photographer.

Me and the girls. The sun was right in our face, so we were all squinting.

Angel & Lacey.

Lacey, Maddie & Kaylie.

Maddie had a ton of fun running around with Lacey and climbing on anything they could. Although I have to admit, I was a bit nervous about her climbing on anything near the animals after the crazy thing with the Tiger at the San Francisco Zoo.

The girls right after lunch. Kaylie carried her apple around for about an hour before she decided it was time to throw it away.

And since it was a Zoo trip I decided I should include some picture of actual animals. This was the giraffe that was closest to us and some crazy cow type animals with HUGE horns!

And this was my friend, Mrs. Malard. She ran her little ducky tail to me as fast as she could when she saw me open my camera bag. She apparently thought it was full of treats for her. Then she followed us for a little while looking for a hand out.

Brian's Birthday

Kaylie in Daddy's shoes...

Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday dear Daddy. Happy Birthday to you!

I decorated this cake for Brian. He picked out the frosting and the cake. It was funfetti cake with Strawberry frosting.

Loves for Daddy!
